You can then quickly analyse whether you want to take the risk and visit the site or even make yourself aware that the site poses a potential security problem for your machine.
Websites that are listed as potentially dangerous are those with excessive pop-ups, fraudulent practices like phishing and browser exploits. Anything you download is checked too, in case they harbour any adware or spyware.
