Aimed at organisations that have their own server(s) to manage their site, WebSiteLock aims to prevent sites from being altered or damaged by an unwanted intruder. For those of you who use an internet service provider to host your website, ValidSite, also by MFX, was designed specifically for your needs.
As you will know, attacks on your website can not only cost your company time and money, but can give the public an undesirable impression of your company and its security measures. WebSiteLock claims to be the world's first software tool that will lock and protect the contents of an organisation's website.
WebSiteLock can constantly monitor all files on a site, keeping an eye on each individual byte and reverting to the original byte at the detection of any alteration. Any tampered files will automatically be rebuilt to the original format, with any attack, however small, being instantly reported to the system administrator.
The program can also be password protected to ensure that only authorised personnel within your company can make any changes to the website. Add to this the fact that it helps protect your critical firewall files, along with both static and dynamic files simultaneously, and WebSiteLock should be seen as a powerful weapon against website attacks.
The functions are essential to ensure that your website is fully secure and, in conjunction with a firewall, should be enough to ensure that files remain confidential and secure. With its simple layout and ease of use, this is one program that anybody with a basic understanding of websites should be able to operate effectively.
With this demo you are limited to protecting 1Mb worth of files, but otherwise it is fully functional. A larger file allocation will have to purchased from MFX, but there is no limit to the number of files you can protect.
