System Requirements:
Version 4.70 or higher of the Windows Common Control Library (COMCTL32.DLL) in \Windows\System. If you have Windows 98 or Internet Explorer 5 installed on your PC, you probably have the updated version of the file. If not, please download from manufacturer's site.

Directory Snoop is a 32bit utility program that allows you to snoop around your disk drives at a low level. It looks very similar to Windows Explorer and works on uncompressed FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32 disks.

Directory Snoop's main features

recovers erased files
purges erased file names from directory structure
permanently erases files and individual clusters with four-pass wiping function
views raw directory structures and file clusters
searches, groups and sorts files by name, date, cluster, size and attributes
searches files and raw clusters for content
views the file allocation table (FAT)
steps forwards or backwards through cluster chains
maps files and directories to cluster numbers
verifies the effectiveness of file/disk wiping programs.
