Verdict: A great antivirus and antispyware program at no cost
Large corporations can lead to internal politics, with people trying to take credit for your work or going with an idea and then doing something completely different, with their own agenda. This leads to constant management meetings to make sure everyone is on the same path. However, these meetings take ages to organise, plan and arrange. There’s also the time spent sitting through a meeting listening to issues that you thought were dealt with in the previous meeting.
The answer is internal communication. You can walk over to another desk, but if you’re all situated in different buildings, or some of us work part-time, this isn’t the best method of chasing up post-meeting workflow. You could email each other, but it’s all too easy to pretend you didn’t see, read or even receive the email. Another option would be to use an external IM client, such as Windows Messenger, but these might be blocked by your company firewall. Also, everyone needs a public IM account to use the application.
The answer could be to implement an IM system through your internal networking, so that only your employees can access the internal chat client. They can set up their own account, group chat and more.
