Let me heal you!
The programmers must have missed a few attributes such as ‘appropriateness' and ‘no' when developing the game, because neither apply when a bot starts to heal you. Say you're playing exceptionally well, and have enough health to complete the campaign without healing. At this point in time, you'd be quite happy, since one of many achievements is just that, to not use a med kit and complete the campaign. But don't let that stop the bots! They'll pounce on your mildly cut flesh and bandage it all up - they may even kiss it better, just for kicks!
It'd be fair enough if you could refuse the med kit, but you can't! Melee their head, shoot them kindly, nothing! The only solution is a direct blow to the head with a shotgun, or multiple rounds of lead into their flesh. The result is an incapacitated bot, which may or may not be a good thing. At the very least, it'd be a good distraction for oncoming infected while you pick them off from afar.
Take these pills!
Pills give the user a temporary boost in health. Left 4 Dead allows players to give each other pills if they wish. When receiving pills, they are automatically equipped to your hand. If you were carrying a weapon, the pills will replace it until you either re-equip the weapon, or you take said pills. Of course, the bots like to assist you while trying to shoot off oncoming infected. You click to shoot, wait, where's my weapon? Ahh, the silly bot drugged me again!
