Gallery: Catch all the action of the recent Atomic Unlocked event in Sydney - the Atomic Beast, cool Avermedia products, and great gaming from Intel and Team Immunity.
If you attended last week's Atomic Unlocked event, you know it was a hoot. If you missed out, well, one - boo! But two, here's your chance to see what you missed out on.
Alternately, three, you might still be waiting for this Friday, if you're in Melbourne.
Regardless, the first event was a great success. Graham Tucker from Intel kept us all informed on the company's CPU roadmap into 2011, the new Sandybridge architecture, Lightpeak technology, and his own love of HTPC computing.
Kevin Hartin and Nick Popov from Altech took care of introducing us to the new Avermedia Aver3D CaptureHD. It was a great discussion, covering everything from why 3D matters to PC users, to the kind of system you'd need to take full advantage of such a card - ie, nothing too beefy, as the card does all the work.
Finally, we talked up some serious pro-gaming with Tony Trubridge from Team Immunity, Australia's most successful gaming clan.
Then there was hanging out, taking on Team Immunity's tame gamer - ouch! - and chatting to all the speakers while enjoying a beer and some snacks on us.
See you Melbournians soon!
See the rest of our Unlocked tour!
