A new Australian gaming show is about to air on the ABC.
Gaming and mass media generally don’t mix. Just ask the guys who were cut during the implosion of G4 after it merged with Tech TV. The remnants of G4 remain on Foxtel, as Attack of the Show and X-Play, but there’s a dire shortage of Australian tech and games related content on the air.
To correct this oversight, the ABC is going to start airing a new gaming show, Good Game, on its digital channel ABC2. The show focuses on gaming and gaming culture, and with the ABC’s track record of taking the time and effort to make niche shows work it may well be a hit.
Good Game airs every Tuesday from the 19th of this month at 8:30pm and is repeated at 10pm on Wednesdays and 1am on Fridays. Plans are in place to stream the episodes too, over at
