Atomic 2.6 - new and improved!

We’re pleased and proud to present to you a few cool new features for your Atomic pleasure.

Thanks to your feelback and ideas we've been able to use some available development time to add a few things that we agreed were 'must-haves' on the site.

New toys to play with and buttons to push! Get in there and have a poke around, we hope you like them!

Bookmarked threads
Having trouble keeping track of several threads you’re posting in? Want to monitor responses to a particularly clever post you made? A particular thread going off and you want it front and center at all times? Find yourself forgetting to follow the progress of cool threads when they drop off the home page?

No more! Now you can ‘bookmark’ any thread and it will appear in a separate list at the top of each forum! Go on, have a play! Note that bumping old threads is still frowned upon, and bumping threads where no post has been made for 3 months will probably see it getting locked.

Search by user
Now you can easily find posts made by a particular Atomican! Such as yourself! Use it as a wayback machine to check out your excellent form in past threads! You can search by posts or threads too.

Polls!
Create your own polls in the forums! We are very happy to at last give you this much requested feature. We’ve also made it easy for you to quickly check if your brilliant poll idea has already been done (though there’s no harm in running a poll topic again if enough time has passed or something’s made the issue pertinent again).

There’s an archive, so every poll result will be displayed for future history, and we’ve also created an archive of all the official Atomic polls we’ve run.

Atomic Downloads
Feast upon this most insanely wonderful downloads directory. New downloads are added to the index every day, and each is categorised, reviewed and rated. Now you can easily find the best *anything* for your needs, and download it without the usual fuss you have to fight through to get the actual download. All links and software is tested by our man in London.

Latest Atomic content thumbs
At a glance see the most recent bits of Atomic content we’ve added at the top of each page. Now you never again run the risk of missing out on a fresh new Atomic review or feature.
