Scholarship bonanza at Australian Computer Society

IT skills shortage drives rich pickings for IT scholarships

The Australian Computer Society recently launched a new project under its benevolent wings – the ‘ACS Foundation’.

This Foundation aims to provide IT training opportunities for year 11-12 students, university students and young graduates.

Foundation scholarships are funded by donations from IT companies, industry associations, government bodies and the ACS itself. The fund has attracted more donations than the ACS expected, with the end result being a rich bounty of scholarships.

If you’re an IT student, or are planning to head down that wonderful path in the future, it’s worth taking a look at what’s on offer from the ACS Foundation.
