Got what it takes to be part of the Atomic team?

Atomic needs a full-time technical writer to join its award winning team. This is a full time job, based in our lovely Sydney offices.

If you have a genuine passion for PC technology, and you know how to communicate your expertise at the standard and in the style you would expect to read in Atomic, then we should talk. Atomic is an enthusiast's magazine serving the smartest, sharpest, most hardcore and hard-to-please IT fans out there.

Atomic has a long tradition of employing from the community. We'd like to continue that.

You will need:

* To be a gifted writer, able to communicate advanced technical concepts in an engaging and enjoyable way.

* An intimate knowledge of all aspects of PC hardware, primarily components, but also able to write with authority on any related PC hardware. You should possess an understanding of trends, past, present and future.

* You should have a passion for games – both PC and console, and understand the games industry and its history.

* To know Atomic. We are unique and will stay that way, regardless of how the rest of the market moves. You absolutely need to understand the reasons why Atomic is the sharpest, sexiest and most outrageous IT mag in the world.

* You must be a slightly crazy and genuinely funny, capable of creative ideas no normal person can dream up.

* You must be hard working and delightful.

* Excellent PC and games industry contacts are desirable.

You may have previous experience, or you may not, but be really very amazing and ready to start in the deep end.
