It's all about the basics, in this month's Atomic.
We're looking at Video Cards, and we're teaching you everything you need to know about them. What to look for, how they work, and which models are the best in the bang-for-back stakes. If you're looking to upgrade your gaming rig, this is essential stuff for any gamer or upgrader.
And speaking of gaming, it doesn't end there - we've rounded up a mess of developers to answer the age-old question... Why do games ported to PC from console SUCK?! And the answers are pretty interesting!
On the hardware front we're focusing on motherboards, this issue, and we've taken a big old benching stick to 19 Core i7 and Phenom II mobos to find the absolute best of breed.
We've also given KitLog a huge makeover - it's now longer, with more builds, and more info on each system. Want to know the best combos of hardware and peripherals for a basic system, a serious gaming rig, a LAN box, and HTPC, we've got the goods.
And of course, there's all the usual cool stuff and game reviews, including a look at the upcoming Borderlands, an interview with Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Bamber, and much more. Get it now!
