Microsoft Devsta Challenge closing soon

Don't miss out on your chance to win a trip to Vegas, baby!

This Sunday marks your last chance to register for the Devsta Challenge, Microsoft's programming gauntlet, thrown down to all comers. But just what do you have to do? In MS's own words:

To get started, you'll need a Windows LIVE ID and will need to create an online DevSta ID. The challenge begins when the brief is released at 0808 EST on Monday 29 September. You’ll have just 200 hours and 8 minutes to prove your skills using Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2008. All entries must be submitted as a Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 project and be submitted to this site before the challenge ends at 1716 EST on Tuesday 7 October 2008.

It's simple! Just follow that linkg to register and bob's your uncle.

Apart from the main prize - a trip to Las Vegas USA to attend MIX09 Developer Conference, a copy of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition with a one year MSDN Premium Subscription, and an Xbox 360® Elite console package! - there's Samsung mobiles and televisions to be won by runners up.

Get coding! I know there's a lot of smart folks out there in the community, and, having been to Vegas myself, I also know there's a lot of people who would LOVE the place :)
