Another LIVE, another day made of awesome and win.
Atomic LIVE 2008 has now been and gone, leaving in its wake great memories of a day filled with hot tech, great games and some our favourite people on the planet.
It all kicked off at 10am, and in the blink of an eye the show went from empty to packed - thanks to the many Atomicans waiting at the door since really-early-o'clock.
Inside they found stuff to buy, stuff to look at, insane technology like our very own Big Willy PSU testing station and an array of free stuff that was practically falling from the sky. In fact, we saw one of the Ruby girls on the AMD stand nearly get brained by a flying piece of kit.
Fun times!
The main stage was a constant blur of sound and activity, as Sapphire, Altech, Thermaltake, and ASUS took the stage in between bouts of Guitar Hero III and our ever-popular speed-building comp. Speaking of which, congrats to Ben, who won for the second year in a row! What a champ.
MC Losty was a true trooper, keeping the mood happy and jumping.
And then, like that, it was time to pack up... too soon, we say!
Finally, I'd like to thank each and every vendor and retailer who helped make the day so great, iamthemaxx and dsagill for TIRELESS service, mordain and lambo for running a flawless WGT, and of course every Atomican who made the day what it was.
And now... to get rid of all that damn glitter!
Aliens: Colonial Marines in depth; Z-77 Motherboard round-up; strategy gaming special; Home Server tutorial. PLUS MUCH MORE - ON SALE NOW!

You're spent? MORE PLAGIARISM FROM HOLLINGWORTH!
Still having trouble putting the day into words, mainly because I am really sick and in bed as we speak. Damn you filthy unwashed masses and your germs!

It was most excellent. So much fun stuff happening and far far too many tempting stalls (damn madman! I shouldn't have taken my credit card with me).
Well done guys (and gals). Supreme effort and top notch outcome.
