16,000 songs and counting...
Many people have dreamed of an intertubes so clogged with video-ey goodness that we'd have every desire sated on a whim. Well, MTV has brought us one step closer to this, by releasing a brand-new website that features (amongst other things) a current total of just over sixteen thousand video clips!
The clips are organised by Most Viewed (if you're so vain that you must watch what everyone else in the world is watching), Top Rated (sadly Never Gonna Give You Up is the current top rated song), and Featured (which is actually a very decent collection of some very impressive songs).
Not only this, but there is also a handy search function, giving you the ability to search for any artist and watch any videos that MTV has ever had. And the best thing about this whole service? It's completely ad-free!
You'll get no advertising anywhere on the page, and the video clips start playing immediately, with no stupid reminder of where you're watching them. They're not quite HD quality, but they're more than good enough to enjoy, and audio quality is plenty good enough to really enjoy the clips. The site also has a fun-ish name, 'MTvM'.
