The Love Bug virus may well be safely contained and now just a vaguely funny topic at LAN parties, but its brethren live on. The latest incarnation, which is yet to hit locally, arrives in an email entitled 'My baby pic!!!', which carries a .exe labeled - surprise, surprise - mybabypic.exe.

Like the Love Bug, My Baby sends itself to everyone in your address book and can destroy JPEG images. A new twist is the fact that it can change the status of the Caps lock, Scroll lock and Num lock keys, as well as toasting source code files in Visual Basic, Pascal and C++. There are no virus patches yet for this new virus, but keep an eye out, and stay away from mysterious .exe files.
