Alright, we've all seen a lot of crazy stuff online. There's the numerous bad taste sites out there, such as Rotten.com, newsgroups lousy with .AVIs of skateboarders bending legs the wrong way, and all kinds of totally heinous pr0n. But have you ever seen anyone die? Master Magician (his words, not mine -ed) Jim Callihan is planning on broadcasting someone's death online, on the 27th of this month.

No details have been forthcoming about the exact details, nor even where this death will take place, but you will be able to log onto the site on the day and watch someone shuffle off this mortal coil. The death is part of Callihan's online EDGE Exhibit. What else has this Master Magician pulled off? Well, apparently not much.

Callihan works mostly in the field of 'corporate entertainment', which I figure puts him up there with the 'real' film-makers who make corporate training videos. But I'm not cynical. He's a paranormalist, the world's fastest balloon twister, and owner/founder of Applied Thought Technologies - a corporate presentation company. He also likes to try to cross busy streets blindfolded, and is the discoverer of the rare and amazing aqua-keet, underwater bird. Go figure.

Cynical? Well, maybe a little bit, but either way the guy has won, because, believe him or not, I will be visiting his site come the 27th, to either be horrified at how far down the poor taste road Jim Callihan has gone, or to laugh at an obvious PR stunt.
