An epic spreadsheet of results from our torture test of the 12 best power supplies you can buy

It turns out that issue 95 was delivered to subscribers late last week! And with the new issue just about to hit the newsstands, now is the time for us to inundate you with megabytes of results from this month's Head to Head.

Big Willy is back. And it's Excelsty. And that isn't even a word.

There are twelve high end power supplies tested in this issue. Half second by half second results of how they fared under testing are online in an excel document for you to pour over.

Well, what are you waiting for? Download that bastard! Then grab a copy of issue 95 and read along!

Notes and Errata:

There is no DRM on this file, but you'll need to open it as read only because almost everything but a simple view has been write protected.

You won't need the macros -- they were just there to format the .CSV data from the multimeters into something manageable.

No, this can't be done as a PDF or in OpenOffice because there's too much data to navigate and I'm not a Communist, respectively.

Want to check out the first Australian review of Final Fantasy XIII? We got in this month's Atomic!

So it looks like I was a little heavy handed with the encryption and my office workstation must have kept the key in memory when I checked the file after downloading it.

I'll have to upload it again tomorrow from the office, because I don't have the FTP details at home.

Sorry guys.

thanks dave. can open it now.

fyi - unfortunately, read only means we can't resize or even click on a cell. so the comments at the end are cut off and can't be read.

I dont know whether this is just applicable to Openoffice or not, but you have full access to change and edit everything in Openoffice. This might help you read all the comments SyKRyD.

And for the 40% of us who buy mid-range PSU's (other 59% go for generic), are we going to see a useful test setup? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea but we also need useful data...
