The next line of investigation was that a stray lightning bolt from a nearby game of Black and White (which I cannot afford yet, send your donations to… ) might have fried news writer David Hollingworth's system, but no, that too was ruled out, since everyone knows that games have no effect on real life - don't we boys and girls?

Of course any rumours suggesting that Mr Hollingworth was actually ill are positively groundless. 'I'm a journalist, God damn it,' he blabbered to inquiring minds yesterday.
