'Some of you have asked why they haven't found many ALi MaGiK 1 motherboard reviews on Amdmb.com. The reasoning is that ALi was supposed to be releasing a new stepping of the northbridge of this chipset that would improve where it has pointed to lack at in other reviews. Stability and performance were finally supposed to perfected. However, this has obviously taken longer than they expected, and thus a longer period of time has passed on the site without a look at any of the M1647 northbridge motherboards. The KD266 that is based on the M1649 northbridge is a close cousin to it, however, with just a few subtle, yet important differences.'
