The Japanese, famous for inventing modern consumer robotics, such as robo puppies and kittens have something new up their sleeve. Robotic Jellyfish would be coming out next from the Japanese robotic toy company Takara Co-operation.

The robo-jellyfish is one of the many products coming out from Takara Co.'s Aquaroid range. Soon you'll able to have creatures such as vertebrate fish mockups, turtles and even an exotic ammonite. However the jellyfish is said to be the best out of all the Aquaroid range. The Jellyfish would able to rise and fall slowly and serenely up and down. The jellyfish has a purple and green opalescent body, trailed by long and graceful tendrils. Powered by two AA batteries. It's also photosensitive so that when your lights are on it comes life and goes to sleep when you turn it off. It's sensors also keep the jellyfish away from the glass wall.
