Valve's snapshot of hardware habits goes monthly.

We love the Valve Hardware Survey. It's ongoing stats drill down to the most minute level of detail on the systems that gamer's use to play games via the Steam network. From what drivers are being used on what graphics cards, to resolutions played at to operating system of choice, it's a wonderful look at the real world of hardware amongst gamers of all stripes.

And it's gotten even better!

Valve will now be releasing the stats on a monthly basis, and the way those stats are tracked and reported has also been super revamped. It's chock full of exciting graphics and tables, and a lot of the data can be sorted through multiple filters.

Tables and graphs and statistics - oh my!

What do you mean tables aren't exciting?

The Valve Hardware Survey has always been a really handy tool to track how your own system compares with millions of other gamers, and with its much easier to use interface, it's now an even better tool.

Definitely one to bookmark.
