Wow great going ASUS, but that's why the SB750 was introduced into the AM2+ platform (among other things) so any AM2+ mobo with a that south bridge can run an AM3 CPU.

very good to see, even the board i'm planning on getting for my next upgrade is on the list.
a question though... AM3 CPUs are meant to have a DDR3 memory controller, while the current AM2+ CPUs have a DDR2 memory controller, correct? so how will the DDR3 controller work with the DDR2 boards in the list above (which is all of them i believe)?

I guess AMD will be releasing DDR3 and DDR2 version of their new CPUs, Sebbs.

clicked around a bit and it seems that AM3 CPUs have both the DDR3 and DDR2 memory controllers on the same die. that info seems to have been quietly released in Nov 2007 on p45 of http://download.amd.com/Corporate/SpiderPlatformPresentationv3.pdf
