The game's director shares the joy of being a bad guy in Middle Earth.

Here's a brand new developer diary from Eric Gewirtz, the Director of Lord of the Rings: Conquest.

And... he is EVIL.

Well, actually, no. He's just talking evil - the evil campaign of the game, to be precise. And it sounds pretty grim.



At last, all your Legolas-killing fantasies can be a reality. Plus the actual gameplay is looking pretty impressive, if a little... arcadey.

So .. . .I'm a little confused, but, what kind of game is this? It sounds somewhat like an RPG. Rather consoley if so . . .

Just played the demo on PS3, and it is definately not an RPG. Just a poorly implemented button masher - imagine God of War done really badly, with a LoTR skin.

why don't they just make a Grand Theft Auto of LOTR.
just imagine being Gandalf and beating up hobbits and Frodo's like "what the hell are you doing?" :)
