The country's biggest LANing event comes to Adelaide this January!
Adelaide gamers take note: Alienware and Valhalla LAN Parties are bringing a Reloaded LAN to the great City of Churches this month!
From January 16 to 19 a massive Gears of War 2 Reloaded event will run at the St Clair Recreation Centre. Event organizers are expecting this to be the biggest LAN event ever held in South Australia; if that’s not nearly enough of a reason to go, there’ll be gamers from all over the country, and $70,000 worth of prizes and giveaways. Major sponsors of the event include AMD and Microsoft, as well as leading game publishers Electronic Arts and Ubisoft.
It’s going to be a PC and console event, so no matter your favourite form of digital competition, you’ll be catered for.
This is the fourth Reloaded event to be held in the last couple of years. Atomic attended the last one in Melbourne and had a hoot, so we recommend any SA gamers make their best effort to attend.
More details of the event, including ticket pricing and other activities (there’ll be Madman-sponsored Cosplay – keen!) can be found at
