Verbatim goes quad

New hard drives promise freedom of connectivity and ultra portability.

Verbatim has announced the launch af a new range of hard drives which acknowledges that users now need to move large chunks of data around, often switching from one computer to another.

The Quad Interface hard drives come in 500GB and 1TB packages and each boast USB 2.0, Firewire 400, Firewire 800 and ESATA connection options. They both spin at 7200 rpm and feature 32MB of cache.

With an attractive three-year warranty, the drives weigh in at a pretty hefty $US180 and $US250 respectively.
