Of course, that feeling of relief will last only as long as it takes to post the next Windows XP advisory to Bugtraq.

We're not going to bore you with a huge list of fixes, changes and updates rolled into SP1. A fair chunk of it comes from the numerous XP hot-fixes Microsoft has released. Other goodies include modifications to the Add/Remove program menu and the re-inclusion of Microsoft Java Machine (Psst: Sun makes a better one!). Oh, and did we mention an update to Windows Product Activation aimed at killing pirated installs? If you fancy yourself as a bit of a l337 w4r3z kiddie, it's something to keep in mind.
