Watch TV for any random hour and some “win a new car!” promotion will be in your face at some point. Buy a coke and a packet of chips and you can win a trip to some desert island. Go to McDonalds and, if the company is playing fair, you can probably win something made of plastic.
Yawn. So much boring, predictable, practical stuff to win.
But wait! Like the light that shone through the hole in the wall in Raiders of the Lost Ark, which showed Indy where the snake pit was, Atomic has saved the day. Again.
For months now we've been running a competition like no other. Who wants to win a Toyota Camry when you can win the most unbefruckinglievable PC ever built?

The Heavy Water Project was lovingly crafted by Ron Prouse, the greatest case modder in the universe. It's got the lot, as you'd know from reading our tutorials. Apart from being an engineering marvel, Heavy Water also sports the best inside bits around, including an Abit GeForce4 Ti4600 and nasty array of 3 x 80Gb ATA133 Maxtor drives, all RAIDed, of course. AMD chipped in an Athlon 2200+, Creative donated an Audigy and it's all sitting on an Abit KX7333 motherboard. And a hell of a lot more. So many companies donated the best of the best to make this thing the ultimate beast.

And now, it has an owner. We asked 4 hell tough questions, and most of you got all 4 correct. A computer, not Heavy Water, drew a random winner, who has been notified and had a minor heart attack. We are sure that Heavy Water will be properly loved and appreciated by… Tim Pring!

Congratulations Tim! You now own the bitchingest PC ever created. Hope it improves your Counter-Strike peformance.

Thanks to everyone who entered, and thanks to all the companies that supplied components. See Atomic 22 for all the details and the answers to the tough but fair questions.

As always, the judges decision is final, etc…
