'Why oh why?' – the question any normal person would ask. But then we aren't normal, are we? If you've just start massaging your keyboard and spilling drool on your monitor because of the title, you should probably seek some help. For the rest of us, we are quite happy to stare wide-eyed at our monitors, gawking at this old school system reborn.

Well, maybe not quite old school, considering that the SX-64 was a complete flop, but the word 'Commodore' will certainly spark a twinkle in many an eye, and cause many a memory to force its way into your brain, while you dive for cover and cower behind your own mod box.

Well, maybe not quite cowering, but you'd be scared of those ancient whimsies coming back like the 8-track. That is unless it merged with something new, pleasant and downright sick.

So, here we have a Commodore SX-64, fully modded to take a 1.2GHz Pentium III, which replaces the original 1MHz – yes, one megahertz – CPU. What a beast. The only downer to the system is the Micro-ATX motherboard (read: integrated everything), but who cares.
