Planetside in Australia: make the dream come true!

Planetside -- what an awesome massively multiplayer game! Shame we'll never see an Australia server. Which blows. So pull out your blowers of complaint and have your say.

Firstly, thanks to FreeRangeEggs for giving the dream a chance. Top stuff.

Secondly -- no doubt you've heard of Planetside.

Also a fact not in question is the crippling pain an Australian player must feel when they start the game up, only to discover that there's no Oz server.

Lag-induced(?) butt injury flares. Migranes of slowness erupt.

When you finally manage to uncurl your sob-wracked body and take your hands from your temples (and given your cheeks the once over), denial will set in. It's also highly likely that the box and case Planetside came in will find itself a new career as a wonderful flying contraption, one that has as much chance at air-sailing as Bobby from The Brady Bunch's body being hurled through a plate glass window of a 20-story hotel in Vegas.

Excuse the rampant rage.

If you'd like to see Bobby, er, a Planetside server in Australia, just throw your vote through an open porthole, me hearties.

Failing that, you could visit this site and cast your vote into a petition; much less painful than plate glass or the gantry of a pirate ship, with waiting cut-throats with sharp-sharp scimitars.
