A bunch of Atomicans on a mission have setup the first ever shoutcast radio station for you. And - they want you to be a DJ!

Tonto_1337 sent this through, for all Atomicans:

Atomic Radio

Finally the wait is over! Atomic has its own radio station, or didn't you know? We have completed all testing and the server is all fired up and ready to rock!

The service was originally thought up by Jedi_Vader20 about a year ago. One day I was sitting at my computer eating my pizza like a good little Tonto and thought “I wonder if I could host it?” I talked it over with the some people and then BOOM! Before I knew it I had a shoutcast server set up.

As I said earlier on, any Atomican can become a DJ. All you need to do is rock on over to http://www.atomicradio.net and hit the Be a DJ button and your on your way to becoming a teen idol… well… maybe not a Teen idol… more like an Atomic idol… anyway, back to the subject at hand.

A lot of people want to know what software and hardware is required to be a DJ. Well I might as well clear this up now. Hardware wise all you really need is a 56K internet connection. A microphone is not absolutely essential but is recommended. All you need in the software department is Winamp 2 (Version 3 doesn't like shoutcast), Nullsoft Shoutcast and last but not least a few MP3s / CDs that you can use as music (a crucial part of being a DJ). There is a guide on the Atomic Radio site that will instruct you on how to set up Winamp. All files required to become a DJ are available from http://www.atomicradio.net/downloads.php

Want something cool to listen to? Then you can tune into Atomic Radio and listen to the sexeh beats.

The Atomic Radio service is hosted by Matthew Harper Web Services (http://www.mattharper.net) and is Administrated / Ran / Owned by Tonto.

We would like to thank Overseer, Mazzanet, Sneddo and Jedi_Vader20 for their time and effort which have in one way or another made it possible for this service to become what it is today.
