Oh yeah, it’s Counter-Strike baby. . . and what better way to show off your awesome skills than a tournament where you can win $500 cash! Interested?

EVENT
On Sunday 3 August, Pantheon E-Sports will be holding a 16-team exhibition Counter-Strike tournament at the new iStarZone in Sydney.

COSTS AND REGISTRATION
With the cost of the event only $5.00 per player, and the limited number of team places available, registration will fill quickly, so it is important to get your team down. To register, simply email LPT@auspantheon.com with the heading 'Tournament'. Include your team name and player list. Money will be collected on the morning before the event.

PRIZES:
1. First place will walk away with $500 cash.
2. Along with the $500, the winning team will also be the first players in Australia to receive a free copy of Counter Strike: Condition Zero when it is officially released in Australia by Vivendi.
3. First and second placing teams are invited to be the official demonstrators of Counter Strike: Condition Zero on its official launch at the new iStarZone.
4. Got fame? The competitions players do, with a write-up in Atomic magazine!

COMPETITION STRUCTURE
The tournament will be an MR 12, 16-team single elimination competition. With a winner-takes-all survivor feel, there are no second chances and no reward for second place. Literally, every round counts and it could be anyone's game. The team draw will be random except for those teams which place top eight at this Saturday's SGL, who will be seeded accordingly.

TIME
Games will begin at 10.00AM, yet it is advised that players arrive at around 9.00AM so money can be collected and teams can have time to set up. Also, it is well known how events can 'often' run over time, so we urge all teams to try and get to the event as early as possible.

Keep your eyes on this spot for information on the winners when they, well, become winners!
