Cosplay + Portal = AWESOME

Portal was arguably one of the best games Valve has ever produced, full of black humour, mind-shattering physics puzzles, and the love that can only be shared by a hapless test subject and his companion cube.

The Portal gun, similarly, is a masterful piece of 3D design, and now, thanks a prop-maker helping out his girlfriend's efforts at making the test subject's costume, it's a reality. From the lucky girl's flickr:

"My boyfriend made this ASHPD for me for my upcoming Aperture Science Test Subject costume. It lights up both blue and orange along the tube and in the barrel, and the prongs light up red as long as the gun is on."

One of the comments on the pic suggests that she marry the dude, and we can't argue with that.

And he's taking commissions. Oh yes.
