Post of the Month!
Come join Atomic for some OC fun and gaming awesomeness!
Brace yourselves - Atomic will be down for an indeterminate time next week.
Next week, starting at approximately 9:30am, 1/12/2003, the Atomic site will be down for maintanence and hardware upgrading.
We're changing over to a new server, so there's a ton of work to be done. We can't accurately predict how long it will take, as there may be some unexpected troubleshooting, but, according to Evil Admin, it'll "anywhere between 8 hours and 3 days".
Naturally we're sorry we have to put you through withdrawals, we'll try and be as speedy as we can.
And no, this isn't a cover story for any kind of version upgrade... we promise.
Thanks in advance for your patience. Hopefully we'll be looking at better and more reliable performance when we're up again.
Please note that if the server is down for the worst case scenario of "up to 3 days", we'll add that to the Atari competition closing date to keep it fair for all.
Yee ha.
Here are some suggested activities for you to pursue during the server downtime:
Swimming
Sleeping

Reinstall Windows
Ask someone out on a date
Visit relatives
Watch TV
Clean your room
Tell your Mum you appreciate her
Go for a country drive
