P55 boards ahoy!

Cebit 09: A new Intel chipset for a new CPU.

In case you doubted, Intel P55 based boards are all over Cebit. We spotted them in many booths, and grabbed pictures of a few for your viewing enjoyment.

That said, the socket, 1156, is new. And it did lose those four pins, as we suspected it would.

So we bring you a couple of pictures of the new boards, an MSI G9P55-DC and a Biostar I55.

The MSI is a high end board with 3 16x PCI slots, the Biostar is a normal performance board.

Both have two memory channels of course, that is on the CPU now. In any case, this chipset should do pretty darn well, the last few Pxx ones sure have.
