Game Heads-Up: Get gooey for one fourth the price!

World of Goo is a fun little indie title that we've played around with a little ourselves, and until now has been about US$20 from the steam store.

For a very limited time it's reduced to a price of US$5 - roughly AU$7.75 - and it's definitely worth a look.

It's comparable to the Katamari games, Locoroco and many others, and is incredibly addictive. Just check out this trailer to get an idea of what it's like:

Head over to the Steam Store to grab yourself a copy of this fun little game.

BAM!

I love these indie game price cuts. That is the 5th game this month I have bought for under $10.

What The Fuck.
Why can't I change resolutions from 800x600? Or even run in windowed mode?

A load of shit....

This game is great. You can edit config.txt (prog files\world of goo\properties) if you want to change the resolution, but yeah it's designed to run in 800x600 so some menu buttons appear in the wrong location which is a bit ghey..

it is highly addicitive though and worth every bit of $5USD.... ohhh say can you see.... goo?

Totally getting this. Loved Tower of Goo from its first beginnings at the Experimental Gameplay Project. This should be awesome!

I used Steam for this, which as far as I can see doesn't have the properties file....?

Still, windowed mode would have been nice.

Gee that was short lived. Appears to be back to $19.99 on the Steam website.
