Video: Get the lowdown on Assault on Dark Athena from the developers themselves.

It's very rare for a company to be as generous as Starbreeze is being with its latest title, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Athena is the sequel to Escape From Butcher Bay, a surprisingly well receieved title from back in the dark ages of 2004. The new game is a glorious looking title, with more complex AI, detailed environments and all kinds of shiny improvements.

But what's particularly generous is that Starbreeze has effectively remade Butcher Bay, using all the new assets from Athena, and bundled both games in the one package. That's pretty awesome. The guys at Starbreeze certainly think it's pretty awesome, and we can't fault them.

Time to go re-watch Pitch Black, methinks.

Pitch Black is an awesome movie.
