Video: Time to hop into Wolverine's immortal regenerative shoes and see what life's like with an Adamantine skeleton. Answer? It's very cool...

There's a lot to look forward to in the new Wolverine game. We've touched on it a little before, but for those not in the know, this is one movie tie-in which is actually looking quite bearable.

The action is predicated on the usual array of light, medium and heavy attacks. However, the game eschews the reliance on long and often hard to remember combos in order to open up a freer style of play. The other big draw of the game is that it will be quite bloody - early reports of gameplay seen at the New York ComicCon mentioned liberal gore, and quite detailed damage to Wolverine and whatever he's wearing.

Which is cool, really, as you've got to imagine that those adamantine claws can leave quite a mark when the big-guy gets angry.

That's some serious cranky-face, right there.

If the camera moves around like that while you're actually playing, it'll be a big ol' miss. Not to mention that if any of that was actual gameplay, it's most likely quicktime event stuff. Eugh.

Having said that, it does have potential. Will watch out for it.

at 1:08-1:10 am I seeing what I think I am seeing? Is Logan deflecting a rocket with his claws? ....

Apart from that it looks like fun. Though I do have to agree with the statement "I HATE quicktime events."
