List of ten great gaming webcomics

Essential Culture: For all those Internet fiends out there with a burning need for more to read.

Comics and gaming go together like punch and pie, and you only have to take a look at the shelves of your favourite games store to see the huge amount of gaming titles.

Granted they might not all be so good, the good news is that the webcomics that either laud or make fun of those very games are good, and we've found a list by Simon Slangen of the ten best gaming comics in the biz.

Some of these we already read faithfully, while others are news even to us - so check out each comic and feel the geeky opinion and love that only a webcomic can so aptly communicate.

Here's the list for those click-phobic (or if you just want to dive straight into the reading action):

Head over to makeuseof.com to see the article and some history behind the comics, as well as when they usually publish new comics, and feel free to comment about what you'd like to see included or excluded from this list.

awww... theres no lfgcomic.com there, IMO i think it would have been a worthy addition.
But they are all a good read on a slow boring day.

I like reading both http://www.reallifecomics.com/ and http://www.little-gamers.com/ as well as some of the ones listed above. They are both based around gaming life so you may like them too.

my avatar is stolen from little gamers 8^P.

Neither xkcd or lfg are gaming related though - xkcd is more science/math, and lfg is fantasy storyline

VG cats have dropped the ball of late with updates - Not sure what happened, but seemed to slow down when those two extra ones showed up on their site
