Fujitsu breaks through fuel cell size limits

Fujitsu brought fuel cell technology one step closer to reality this week when it announced it had made a breakthrough in the types of material used in the making of fuel cells.

Fujitsu brought fuel cell technology one step closer to reality this week when it announced it had made a breakthrough in the types of material used in the making of fuel cells.

Fujitsu's breakthrough allows methanol to be stored in a 30% methanol-on-water solution without leaking, and they claim that this has allowed 300ml of the solution to power a notebook PC for over eight hours.
