Take a ride on the 8-bit waterslide

Friday Afternoon Youtube: Slippin' and a slidin' down the 8-bit waterslide.

Following on from last week's Friday Afternoon Youtube about internet memes, we found this little amusing vid about an 8-bit man stuck (funnily enough) in an 8-bit waterslide.

It's been created using some very cool stop-motion filming, a lot of paper, colouring and a metric buttload (also known as a tonne) of patience to get it all done.

With a toe-tapping synthed soundtrack, and a high-pitched wailing of the poor sod on the ride, it's everything that you can really want in a video to round out your week.

Sadly there isn't any Mario vs DK action in here, nor any traditionally recognisable 8-bit characters, but well worth a watch at only 1:27 long.

Have a good weekend, Atomic!
