Logitech's biggest mouse evar

Logitech's 3D Connexion mouse with a huge amount of features and a hefty pricetag.

Logitech-owned fancy mouse maker 3D Connexion has announced the Spacepilot 3D Pro, probably the most complex, and expensive, controller we have ever seen.

Festooned with buttons, and incorporating an LCD screen, the controller works in six planes by allowing users to rotate and pull up or down of the main joystick controller, making it perfect for 3D design applications.

It works with XP and Vista, Solaris 8 and 10 and various flavours of Linux, but Macolytes seem to have been left out in the cold.

It's available now from major CAD resellers and direct from Logitech for US$499.

I like it! I doubt I would ever have the patience to use it long enough to get used to it, but I like it!!

why does it have a symantec logo on it? at least ..it looks like a symantec logo..

I'd assume it wouldn't be great as a gaming mouse coz it looks very bulky but probably would be good as a joystick. It looks more like a game pad than a mouse.
