Dawn of War II on sale

Dawn of War 2 sells for cheap on Steam this weekend!

Steam enjoy having sales - they usually drive up the amount of people playing their games (and rightly so) - but it's when the really good games go onsale that we start to get excited.

Up on the pricetag chopping block is Dawn of War II, a game that we gave a 94% rating for it's nerdy awesomeness and great gameplay.

It's had the price reduced by 25% this weekend only (ending 20th April in the States, or sometime Monday here in Australia), coming in at US$52.49 - or about AU$73 in a rough conversion at the time of writing.

This saves you about thirty bucks from a traditional games store, and is great for those who enjoy the convenience of a download.

If you haven't got into this game yet, it's a great excuse to - just head to the Steam Store to pick up your copy.

I got mine off Ebay for $25 USD (34.75AUD) with free shipping from india. It was in perfect condition and the key worked on steam without a hitch.

Now thats a bargain!!

Its actually $52 AUD.

25% off $49.99 (normal steam price) is $37.49 (all in USD)

$37.49 is about $52 AUD

hmm. its almost worth the price (steam is somewhat pricey still), but i wont be getting it purely because steam adds to my monthly download cap - its just not worth it, only to suffer through 56k speeds (and miss out on my USA tv series..)

maybe in a year or 3 ill prefer digital distribution over a bought copy - if our internet improves (unlikely, looking at the state of conroys NBN plan)
