See Star Trek early... and free!

See JJ Abram's new Trek film days before its release - and without paying a cent!

So, you're a Trek fan, and you just cannot wait to see the new film - we don't blame you, it's awesome - but what do you do?

Well, if you're a Myspacer (or are willing to be one for a day) there's a way you can sign up for a FREE preview screening the Monday before the film opens, thanks to the folks at MySpace's Black Curtain! WIN!

Taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, RSVP's for the Star Trek MySpace Black Curtain screening will open on Thursday April 23rd. Those wishing to attend, need to add the Black Curtain www.myspace.com/blackcurtainau to their MySpace ‘friends' and RSVP for the event at 5pm Thursday April 23rd.

See! We do (occasionally, I admit) bring you things in other states! I can't wait to see the film again, so I'll see you there (though I'm still tossing up whether to do it in uniform...).

I wasn't planning on bothering with this... But it's free, and who doesn't love free stuff?

Doesn't this clash with the 100th Issue Party?

No - RSVPs open on the 23rd, but the event is the 4th of May.

OK, cool. Makes more sense now. Thanks for the clarification.

Oh. I thought this was about Uncle Torrence. But this is good too! :P

Damn, I live no where near Victoria Gardens. Oh well, I'll have to pay.

I'm a bit on a Trek lover. Hell, I enjoyed Star Trek IV: The Journey Home, and it was, by definition, awful.

Going! I still got a ticket number over 100, despite having RSVP'd within a few minutes of RSVP being opened on MySpace. Wonder how many total they've given out.
Gonna be a long queue... >_<

Saw Wolverine last week through these guys too... yay for freeness (and virtually no ad's, heh.)
