Twenty robots with (hidden) killer instincts

You can't trust those metal-skinned automatons!

Robots are a funny bunch - they can be more endearing than Bambi and funnier than Elmer Fudd on a wabbit hunt (just see Wall.E for a great example).

When they're in the real world though, is when we can start getting a little scared; with steel bodies and superhuman strength isn't it logical for them to be incredibly (unfoundedly) aggressive?

Hell, even video games like Mechwarrior portray robots as killing machines, so why wouldn't they decide to simply fit that stereotype?

Cracked.com reckons so, and they've put together a list of 20 robots that they reckon have unfavourable views of the human race.

Sure some of the robots are probably legitimately helpful and peaceful, but what about the two story BabyBot that belches flame, carries an assortment of dollheads in it's chest and is made entirely of titanium?

Either way, it's definitely worth a look - if only to see what wacky things are going on in the wide world of robots.

They are piloted, though if they were real it would not be to hard to make them automated

MagnumXY: Daleks are not robots. They are living beings in a metal shell with guns. Saying they're robots is like saying that Sith and Dark Jedi are the same thing.
