Atari announces all the wonderful toys you'll get inside the Batman: Arkham Asylum Collecter's Box.

Batman has always been cool, but after the success of The Dark Knight at cinemas around the world Bats has become practically a household name. While some comic fans might chafe at the popularity, you can't deny that if it leads to things like Batman: Arkham Asylum, it's a damn good thing.

And even better thing when you look at all the cool stuff that the Collecter's Edition is gonna have:

  • 14in Batarang with stand: Matches the Batarang's in-game design
  • Arkham Doctor's Journal: 48 pages of notes on Arkham's inmates
  • 2 Sleeve Digi-pack, including: Game disc, Behind-the-scenes DVD
  • Code for downloadable Challenge Map: Exclusive "Crime Alley" map, available immediately
  • Full-colour Manual

Yes - a motherfracking BATARANG. I fully expect ERs around the country to be full of superhero wannabes with spikey bat-shaped boomerangs stuck in their heads. Awesome. The game hits the mean streets in June this year.

Batarang looks childish and DVDs/CD's are on torrents the next day.

Where's some proper figurines or vehicle models?

But surely no one here would support torrenting a game - we certainly don't...

That 'rang is edged, not blunt. Are we talking an over the edge homicidal dark knight in this game?

Edged but not sharp I would say. Aerodynamic type sharpness rather then "oops I cut his throat" type sharpness.

Was looking at getting this but I bet it will be expensive. Oh well the normal version will be better priced.
