HIS and Techpowerup create-a-4890 design contest

Heads-up: Those with creative flair who want their own HIS-flavoured 4890 look here!

Designing artwork for graphics cards isn't something that HIS has really run into before (just see some Manli cards for a good/bad example), but for their latest 4890 design they wanted a little more.

Running over the course of a month you get to design a complete sticker for the card, as well as winning the custom card you'd have designed!

There are some rules though, and the main points are as follows:

  • You must sign up to the TechPowerUp forums to be eligible for entry
  • You must include the ATI Radeon Logo, HIS Logo and TechPowerUp Logo on the design, in an unmodified form except for size/transparency
  • No copyrighted material can be used, and high resolution images should be chosen (Atomic suggests anything with 150+ dpi as a good start)
  • Entries can be submitted in the forum thread, or directly to this email address

Included in the thread are also linked image files for the dimensions of the image, and the contest is not restricted to any country - everyone is eligible for up to three entries.

It ends on May 4th 2009 at 00:01GMT, which is about 10AM local Australian time on the 4th of May.

Head to the official HIS announcement page to check out what they're after, and then wander over to the thread to see what you need to do.
