Video: Learn the fine art of creating a villain in Cryptic Studios' Champions Online.

Like the new Champions Online trailer says, "There can be no light without darkness." It's definitely a truism we can't argue with; kind of like how there can be no beer without salty snacks. Only, you know, like, deeper.

We've known about Cryptic Studio's MMO's new Nemesis game mechanic for a while, and it's gotten us more than a little interested in checking out the game when it releases and the servers go live. If you're not familiar, Champions allows players to create not only their own character, but an arch villain as well - a nemisis.

This baddie will then show up throughout your gameplay experience, laying the smack down on you and your companions. And now you can see this paragons of evil in action, in the latest trailer:

Hmm... smitey. The game will be released on June 14th this year.
