Friday Afternoon Youtube: A Philips TV ad with a surprisingly funky effect!

Friday Afternoon wasn't around last week due to time constraints (after all, we do have a magazine to run!), but this week we're bringing you some more loving.

Last FA we had a look at a cutely animated anime-style vid, but this one is an ad made by Philips for their very special 21:9 format TV - one that can't seem any more real than it is.

Created using multiple images and a hyper-real camera effect each person, object and explosion seems to hover almost within arm's reach of the screen. Sure it's only an effect, but it's a good one!

Sink yourself into this eerily engrossing vid, as we bid adieu to another week and another Issue - Issue 101 has been sent to the printers, so expect it on Wednesday the 13th.

Have a good weekend, Atomic!

Good to see motion picture is still having it's boundries pushed and prodded. Been a while since a decent movie like the Matrix has come out, in terms of groud breaking cinematography

Good old Philips, so glade I picked up one of their LCD’s before they stopped shipping panels to OZ, the Add speaks for them, pure quality. Made in Europe ;)
