Essential Linkage: Get a summary of any SciFi book in a single click!

As Atomicans we're pretty lucky to be so connected to the world of Science Fiction; with titles like Red Mars, Lord of the Rings and lots more to take our fantasy-addled brains into overload.

Sometimes though, all we're after is a simple summary of these titles, whether we need them to impress the other half of the population (and after all, who isn't impressed that you've read every Star Trek novel known to man) or simply out of our own interest.

Welll, your problems are now answered thanks to a handy site we found through StumbleUpon - The Ultra-Condensed SF/F Books.

It's a collection of some of the most famous books from the history of SciFi, and is possibly the most useful thing since breathing was invented.

Take this expert summary of the classic H.G. Wells story, The War of the Worlds:

Martians

Let's kill people and drink their blood.

(They DO. They DIE.)

Each novel on the site has a similar irreverent tone, and each can also provide a quick summary of every novel you really need to become a SciFi buff - just don't expect to be able to quote lines with other fans.

Head over to the main site to immerse yourself in bite-sized chunks of SciFi goodness.

The Twilight entry shits all over the actual book and movie.

These super-short SF summaries have been around since about 2000, if not before. Good to see they're still going!
