See inside the consoles you love with the power of x-rays!
X-rays, as we all should know, are a form of electromagnetic radiation with a very small wavelength; this allows them to pass through materials with a greater sucess than those with larger wavelengths as well as working as a detection tool.
They're used in medicine and manufacturing to check for illness and errors, but in this case it's a whole new ballgame - seeing inside consoles.
We're used to seeing the games on the screen, but if you've ever wondered what the bits inside look like then look no further; plenty of consoles and controllers have been zapped underneath the x-ray machine and pictured for your viewing pleasure.
We've assembled some of the more interesting ones into a gallery of pics, but the originals are located on flickr via technabob.
Enjoy!
